Constructed by Kathryn with bush regen expert Jordan James and sculptor Orlando Norris, this garden was commissioned by KU preschool to faciliate engagement with the local community. KU welcome neighbours to use the community planting beds.
The students love a quick hop through the "mini bushwalk" garden at drop off and pick up times. A yarning circle provides a shared space for community as well as somewhere for the preschoolers to talk, draw and ponder plants.
The garden features three sculptures by Orlando Norris. These were made from recycled materials. They sparkle in the sun and move in the wind.
