Understorey is a landscape architecture studio grounded in ecological practice, working on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra.
We have a local focus but undertake projects across the region - down the South Coast from Narooma in the south to the Central Coast, and throughout Sydney, including South West and Southern Sydney.
Our work is founded on thorough research, a deep knowledge of place, and meaningful consultation with Traditional Custodians.
We design landscapes that create lasting positive impacts on both communities and the ecologies that sustain us. Our approach prioritizes:
